Though He Tries to Take Credit, Donald Trump Acknowledges Lower Insulin Prices Under Joe Biden

Though he still wants voters to credit his own administration, former President Trump acknowledged on Saturday that the cost of insulin was cheaper under President Joe Biden.

“Not Crooked Joe Biden, but me and the Trump Administration secured low insulin prices for millions of Americans. He had NOTHING to do with it,” Trump said in a Truth Social post. “Everything was finished long before his sad arrival to office. He only tries to claim credit for work done by others—me, in this instance!”

As the November election draws near, health care is a significant voter priority, and Trump trails Biden on this topic. A neutral health policy research organization called KFF, for instance, reported in May that Biden led Trump by 11 points when it came to guaranteeing access to reasonably priced health insurance.
