Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin has disclosed that his committee has discovered at least three additional trips funded for Justice Clarence Thomas by Republican megadonor Harlan Crow. This revelation is part of the panel’s ongoing ethical examination of the Supreme Court.

Durbin, an Illinois Democrat, revealed on Thursday that the committee obtained paperwork from Crow confirming that Thomas flew on Crow’s private plane three times in 2017, 2019, and 2021, totaling at least six flights. The panel also discovered evidence of private jet travel on trips to Indonesia and California, which Thomas just revealed in an update to his 2019 financial disclosure report.

The court had no immediate reaction to the Senate report.
